"Burn It" Tri-Blend Tee
In 1898, then Lieutenant Governor Winston Churchill stood before a regiment of Hessian soldiers who the next day would set sail for the New World to lay siege to General Washington's Continental Army. From the crowd of some 12,000 mercenaries, most knowing but only a few words of English, one shouted, "And vat do ve do ven ve get zere?" causing Churchill to pause, spin his cigar in his mouth and proclaim, "Burn it to the ground."
And thus sewed the roots of Yorkville, a German-American neighborhood bordering Manhattan's ritzy Upper East Side. Commemorate this critical moment in American history with a tee shirt emblazoned with Churchill's now infamous words!
